Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Container Workshop team at STRABAG BMTI GMBH & CO. KG. As a Container Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our container fleet, ensuring that our equipment is in top condition and ready for deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Better management of container-related activities on our construction sites
- Planning and coordination of container installations
- Supervision of personnel and task allocation
- Procurement of transportation services, external maintenance personnel, and cranes
- Inspection of incoming and outgoing containers, with a focus on identifying and scheduling repairs
- Supporting activities during container installation
- Data entry and control in our system
- Decision-making on decommissioning equipment
- Accounts payable review
- Compliance with occupational safety regulations
Requirements
- Completed technical or vocational training, or several years of experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of wood or metal processing and familiarity with building components is an asset
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license (Class B), forklift, aerial work platform, or crane operator certification is desirable
- High level of service and customer orientation, combined with independence and attention to detail
- Experience with container brands ALHO / ProContain and Containex is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Experience in personnel management
- Organized and structured work approach
