Data Director - Strategic Insights Leader
About the Role
RAPP Berlin is seeking a Data Director to lead our analytics strategy and insights across client engagements. This role involves overseeing efforts to inform, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement analytics strategies to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
- Lead a team of analysts to analyze quantitative data, identify customer profiles, segments, and behaviors, and inform business rules for dynamic communication strategies.
- Establish meaningful KPIs, define learning agendas, and create comprehensive measurement, data, and attribution plans.
- Provide insightful reporting, analyze outcomes, and offer actionable recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agency leaders and senior clients to drive data-driven decision-making and achieve exceptional results.
Requirements
- 7+ years in marketing analytics, with at least 3 years in an advertising/marketing agency.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years managing analytics professionals; experience with multi-location and offshore teams is a plus.
- Extensive experience in digital analytics (site analytics, social, online, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of database marketing principles and database structures.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, marketing mathematical rigor, test-and-learn plans, and ROI.
- Strong understanding of direct marketing principles and best-in-class methodologies.
- Working knowledge of digital measurement technologies (tagging, web services, digital tools, etc.).
- Proven analytical skills, including data interpretation and translation into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and management skills with a track record of talent development.
