Retail Operations Supervisor

Compensation Pay Range:
$24.50The Retail Operations Supervisor will assist the Store Manager in various aspects of sales, customer engagement, store presentation, and operational efficiency. This role will oversee the store in the absence of the Store Manager and during conflicting shifts. The Supervisor will be responsible for guiding the store team in delivering exceptional service to customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead the store team in delivering outstanding customer service to both retail and professional clientele.
Monitor customer service standards in the retail area, ensuring team members effectively execute customer service initiatives (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
Collaborate with the Store Manager to guarantee the retail sales counter is sufficiently staffed, particularly during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends, etc.).
Assist the Store Manager in establishing team member objectives, providing feedback on performance, coaching and mentoring staff, and ensuring team members are up-to-date with their training.
Ensure that phone calls are answered in accordance with company protocols.
Oversee the timely processing of online orders, store transfers, and additional orders, ensuring customers are informed upon arrival of shipments as necessary.
Utilize the electronic purchase order system to manage special orders and outside purchases efficiently and in line with procedures.
Ensure that customer returns and exchanges are handled promptly and courteously, processing refunds accurately using the appropriate payment methods, and managing returned merchandise correctly.
Verify that all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced prior to leaving the store.
Ensure effective communication of Zipline messages and that merchandising tasks are assigned and completed as required.
Monitor compliance with company policies among team members, ensuring adherence to the posted work schedule and that any changes are approved by management.
Execute all store opening and closing responsibilities, including day-end procedures, securing money and deposits per company policy, preparing bank deposits as necessary, ensuring security measures are in place, and locking the premises.
Assist the Store Manager in maintaining the store's physical environment, including the building, parking lot, signage, computer systems, in-store equipment, and delivery vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
Desired:
Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
