About the Role

The Retail Trainer – EMEA Central is a key member of the Store Development and Operations team, responsible for designing and delivering training initiatives across the region. This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders to identify training needs, patterns, and trends within the region, and to create, curate, and implement training initiatives in collaboration with other departments, retail operations, and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training initiatives across the EMEA Central region
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs, patterns, and trends within the region
  • Create, curate, and implement training initiatives in collaboration with other departments, retail operations, and visual merchandising
  • Lead New Store Opening (NSO) trainings, including training during the basecamp onboarding week
  • Plan and deliver the new store opening training program across the region
  • Drive the completion and quality of new store opening (NSO's) training
  • Be responsible for the planning of the yearly training calendar for the region
  • Be accountable for all retail training that occurs within the specific market region
  • Be accountable for all training that occurs from the time Store Manager is hired to when the store is opened
About the Team

The Retail Training team is a key part of the Store Development and Operations team, responsible for creating best-in-class learning programs, supporting new store openings, implementation training, and delivering training that enables the business to operate effectively and scale for the future.

Requirements
  • Over 3 years' experience in a managerial role in sales
  • Over 2 years' experience in a Retail Trainer or Retail Excellence role
  • Ability to communicate professionally in German and in English
  • Advanced application of the Microsoft Suite, including Excel and SharePoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a confident and skilled facilitator
  • Ability to respond to changing timelines with a high degree of responsibility and action
  • Experience with new store openings in a vertical retail organisation
  • Proven track record of creating and/or delivering impactful and engaging training that meets and/or exceeds KPI's
