Retail Training Specialist

Job Opportunity at Arc'teryx: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Training Specialist to join our team in EMEA Central. As a key member of our Retail Training team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training initiatives across the region, working closely with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement training strategies to maximize engagement, retention, and adoption
* Collaborate with HQ partners on large-scale training initiatives
* Utilize existing training materials, review, and translate to local language including local nuances
* Deliver training and train-the-trainers for initiative, program, product education, guest experience journey, and ongoing training as needed
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of Arc'teryx store operations, leadership best practices, and product knowledge
* Collaborate with Regional Managers and Store Leadership Team (SM, ASM, Leads) to assess and determine training needs, ensuring training and development is thriving in stores and provide feedback and coaching to retail teams
* Audit training and development practices in stores and champion high-quality and consistent delivery of our programs
* Evaluate and report on training strengths and opportunities in your area
* Execute and manage new store opening (NSO) trainings, provide merchandising and operations support, and attend grand openings to ensure successful new store openings

Requirements:

* Over 3 years' experience in a managerial role in sales and over 2 years' experience in a Retail Trainer or Retail Excellence role
* Ability to communicate professionally in German and in English
* Advanced application of the Microsoft Suite including Excel and SharePoint
* Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation, from VP level to individual contributor
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a confident and skilled facilitator
* Experience with new store openings in a vertical retail organisation
* Proven track record of creating and/or delivering impactful and engaging training that meets and/or exceeds KPI's
* Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
* Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
* Effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
* Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
* Unwavering commitment to do what is right
