Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Job Title: Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer - BiCMOS/CMOS Technology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our team at a leading semiconducting organization in Germany. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance ICs for optimal communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Derive block-level performance specifications from high-level customer requirements.
  • Ensure clarity and transparency within projects across the wider engineering team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform IC design activities including architecture definition, circuit implementation, design verification, layout floor-planning and post-layout verification.
  • Work with product engineers to analyze data from product performance.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of analog design experience of high frequency/high speed products in BiCMOS/CMOS technology.
  • Expertise in analog and high frequency design, including circuit and stability analysis, noise, bandwidth extension techniques, s-parameters, and EM modeling.
  • Advanced-level knowledge of Cadence design, simulation, layout, parasitic extraction, and verification tools for analog and mixed-signal designs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of analog and high-speed building blocks such as Laser drivers, TIAs, CTLEs, VGAs, AGCs, CDRs, PLLs, ADCs, and DACs.
  • Comfort with non-50-Ohm characteristic impedances.
  • Knowledge of ESD, BEOL variation, EMIR and Reliability.
  • Proficiency with system modeling in Matlab/Simulink, System Verilog, or Verilog AMS.
  • Experience with HFSS.
