About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our Rail market vertical in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales and margin goals in the Rail vertical market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement global, regional, and local strategies that drive business growth and exceed annual financial targets.
- Prepare and manage professional quotations, actively follow up on these, and convert them into orders successfully.
- Liaise between Center of Excellence, Application Engineering, and Application Specialists to provide solutions and applications using standard and/or custom-designed products.
- Ensure the promotion of products and services by organizing technical presentations, demonstrations, and trainings.
- Travel within the region and elsewhere as required.
- Report regularly on opportunities, current quotation status, and expected orders, using this information for a proper forecast.
- Lead and coordinate marketing activities such as VOC, exhibitions, market mapping, etc.
- Report to the Commercial Management on relevant commercial activities within the territory, complaints, trends, competitive actions, and any recommendations to improve sales results and productivity.
- Ensure all HSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
- Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally, following published processes and complying with all company policies and procedures.
