Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the launch of our operations in the German market. As the first General Manager for this market, you will be responsible for launching the entire operations, opening new locations, and managing the daily operations of all those locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to launch the German market, including opening new locations and managing daily operations.
- Oversee a team of hospitality, sales, and operations staff, providing coaching and inspiration to drive engagement and exceptional results.
- Set the market's strategic direction and drive customer experience, sales, and operational excellence.
- Manage a P&L for the market, with full ownership of financial planning and analysis.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and revenue growth, including negotiating complex deals with large potential customers.
- Embed the company culture and ethos, connecting the global and regional corporate team with local unit teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and inspiring large teams to produce exceptional results.
- Strong financial planning and analysis skills, along with strong commercial acumen, to manage a P&L in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of innovating or materially improving a business rapidly or with limited resources.
- High degree of comfort working in a team with other executives, with strong management and coaching skills.
