The JobWe are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the Department of Computational Hydrosystems. The successful candidate will contribute to our research on hydrologic modeling and data analysis, with a focus on the development and application of advanced modeling techniques for simulating hydrologic processes at local, continental, and global scales.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on hydrologic modeling and data analysis, with a focus on the development and application of advanced modeling techniques
- Collaborate with our international team of researchers to advance our understanding of hydrologic processes and develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges
- Develop and maintain our hydrologic modeling framework, including the mesoscale Hydrologic Model (mHM)
- Evaluate the performance of our hydrologic models using observation-based datasets and multiple evaluation metrics
- Communicate research results through publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations at international conferences
- PhD in hydrological sciences, with a focus on modeling
- Proven programming skills in Bash and Python/R
- Publication record in hydrologic modeling and data analysis
