Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Transit Ticketing Solutions Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship product, The Mobilitybox. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our vision, enhancing our Mobilitybox backend, and contributing to a project that has a tangible, positive impact on urban mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the first open and fully standardized ticketing interface in Europe, ensuring high efficiency and commitment.
  • Develop backend services that guarantee our partners the easiest-to-integrate and smoothest-to-run ticketing interface in the market.
  • Integrate and standardize different ticketing standards and tariff systems.
  • Continuously improve our services by developing new features for our partners.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing open interfaces, ideally in the context of public transport or mobility.
  • Solid understanding of public transit ticketing systems and technologies such as VDV-KA, Motics, UIC-Barcodes, and ION.
  • Ability to understand how the tools you built are used by our clients and keep the user perspective in mind.
  • Passion for innovation and desire to contribute to the sustainable mobility landscape.
  • Native-level German and English language skills.
