About Us
As a leading mobility technology firm based in Germany, we are developing The Mobilitybox, an API-first solution designed to integrate public transit into various applications and platforms. Our architecture is built on Ruby-on-Rails and utilizes microservices within a Kubernetes/Docker environment.
Your Role
We are seeking skilled developers to help us expand our innovative platform. In this pivotal role, you will enhance the backend of our Mobilitybox and contribute to a project that significantly impacts urban mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a standardized ticketing interface for public transport across Europe.
- Create backend services that provide our partners with the most user-friendly and efficient ticketing solutions available.
- Integrate and standardize various ticketing standards and tariff systems.
- Continuously improve our services by developing new features tailored to our partners' needs.
- Proven experience in developing open interfaces, particularly in public transport or mobility.
- Strong understanding of public transit ticketing technologies such as VDV-KA, Motics, UIC-Barcodes, and ION.
- Ability to empathize with users and understand how your tools are utilized by clients.
- Desire to actively contribute your knowledge, skills, and ideas to our overarching vision.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to advancing sustainable mobility.
- Fluency in both German and English at a native level.
