Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our railway infrastructure projects at DB InfraGO AG. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical realization of projects in the areas of signal, telecommunications, and electrotechnics in southern Bavaria.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the technical realization of projects, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and acceptance of signal and electrotechnical installations.
  • Your goal is to optimize project planning, management, and implementation at DB InfraGO AG.
  • You will lead a team of project engineers and be the point of contact for all parties involved in the project, including authorities and companies.
  • You will commission engineering firms and conduct meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that project timelines, costs, and quality are maintained.
  • You will oversee planning phases and initiate plan reviews and construction documents.
  • You will create cost calculations, validate cost estimates, and lead an active chance and risk management process with your team.
  • After project completion, you will ensure the return of project plans to the asset management system.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering, economics, or civil engineering, or have equivalent qualifications or experience.
  • You have experience in planning and implementing infrastructure projects, particularly in the areas of signal and electrotechnics, telecommunications, or electrical engineering.
  • You are familiar with project management methods, systems, key performance indicators, and processes.
  • Familiarity with project leadership is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • You possess economic thinking and action, and you excel in negotiation and communication with business partners and project stakeholders.
  • You are a motivated and enthusiastic team player who can drive project realization and set the stage for your future.
