We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Device Partnerships Specialist to join our team at Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch). As a key member of our Devices organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing our retail strategy in Germany and other EU countries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Retail Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive retail strategy to drive growth across our Devices and the wider Smart Home category in Germany and other EU countries.
- Foster Partnerships with Retailers: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external retail partners, negotiating commercial terms and conditions to drive win-win solutions for both Amazon and retail partners.
- Develop Joint Business Plans: Collaborate with our channel marketing team to develop and execute annual joint business plans with each retailer partner, including marketing and in-store execution strategies.
- Coordinate New Product Launches: Ensure seamless execution of new product launches across all retail partners, influencing launch timelines based on channel restrictions.
- Presentation and Sales: Present and sell Amazon devices externally to senior audiences, demonstrating excellent understanding of product features and retail partner needs.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Test and implement new marketing initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the retail channels.
- Experience in Sales/Account Management: Several years of experience in sales/account management within consumer electronics or high-tech product environments.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is a must-have, with the ability to communicate complex business concepts in both languages.
- Analytical Skills: Superb analytical skills and business judgment, with the ability to simplify complex problems and articulate a clear path forward.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities.
