About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Freight Operations Manager to join our team at Flexport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of air freight shipments within our regional network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the movement of air freight shipments, including imports and exports, within our regional network.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as air, cartage, and drayage vendors, customs teams, and network operations teams, to ensure seamless coordination of day-to-day operations.
  • Implement operational infrastructure and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Empower account management teams by participating in feedback loops to ensure client needs are met.
  • Act as a consultant to regional teams, product and engineering, and operations excellence teams on air freight supply chain operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Minimum 0-1 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, airline, or sales agent operations.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
