Deputy Maintenance Manager

HelloFresh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Maintenance Manager to join our team in Barleben. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing and proactively adapting maintenance processes at our site in Barleben near Magdeburg.
Your Responsibilities- Ensure the implementation of maintenance processes for production equipment and systems (e.g. conveyor systems, automated sorting systems)
- Guarantee the highest possible availability of all systems and implement modern maintenance approaches such as preventive and predictive maintenance
- Together with the team, continuously evaluate maintenance key performance indicators (availability, downtime, etc.) and be responsible for meeting target key performance indicators
- Implement all necessary safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture within the team
- Support the development of the maintenance team in Barleben by identifying potential and addressing individual team member needs
- Implement maintenance systems and procedures and oversee their execution
- Develop strategies for cost-conscious procurement of spare parts and be responsible for adhering to budget guidelines
- As the first point of contact, you will serve as the interface between management and the maintenance team
- You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Technology or a comparable engineering degree or master's degree
- You bring several years of experience in a leadership role in maintenance
- You have experience with automated systems, including production machines, sorting, and conveyor systems
- You have a good understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- You are a communicative person who binds both the team and other stakeholders into your considerations
- You communicate and write fluently in English (B2 level) and German (C1 level)
