The Operations Project Coordinator (d/f/m) will oversee strategic projects within the operations sector and manage global initiatives in collaboration with our affiliate LIXIL International Operations. This position will report to the Leader PMO Fittings, LIXIL International. The Operations Project Coordinator will serve as a key partner for the senior management team of LIXIL International Operations, facilitating discussions on challenges and structuring effective solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify and optimize potential across divisions with both short-term and strategic focus
  • Lead strategic projects in operations and support overarching initiatives
  • Coordinate global initiatives with our affiliate LIXIL International operations across various regions
  • Conduct analyses on market trends, competitors, productivity, and feasibility to inform decision-making
  • Develop and implement manufacturing and supply strategies that enhance our industry position and support key product areas, considering factors such as
    • x-to-order concepts
    • local-for-local strategies
  • Propose new projects with a strong customer focus and value proposition
  • Define and calculate business cases
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to address challenges and devise solutions
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and meetings to discuss solutions at the board level
  • Maintain close collaboration and alignment with senior management in daily operations

Your qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations with a major consultancy
  • A minimum of 3 years of overall work experience
  • Experience in leading project teams
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in an international environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operations
  • Structured approach with effective communication skills across all levels of hierarchy
  • Fluency in German and English
