About Us
Vista Global Holding, the world's number one on-demand charter operator, is seeking a highly motivated Duty Manager to join our team at Air Hamburg. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all flights, prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety above all else.
Your Responsibilities
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of Operations, Flight Support, Client Service, Crew Planning, and Maintenance Operations Control to ensure seamless flight operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all decisions and actions
- Coordinating the response to daily issues, such as aircraft on ground (AOGs), delays, and weather-related disruptions
- Working closely with Client Services and commercial teams to coordinate service recoveries and ensure customer satisfaction
- Providing oversight of high-profile and demonstration flights
- Collaborating with the flight operations management team to ensure all operations are conducted within the scope of the operation specifications
- Directing and coordinating the efforts of all functions within the operations arena to optimize fleet utilization, considering aircraft availability, maintenance schedules, operational restrictions, and customer preferences
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a key management or supervisory role, preferably in the aviation industry
- A demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Previous experience in managing large teams and leading cross-functional projects
- A natural problem-solving ability and a track record of delivering results in high-pressure situations
