Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering student, ideally with a background in ergonomics or biomechanics, to join us as a working student for a six-month period. The selected candidate will engage in research and development tasks, concentrating on component design, prototyping, laboratory testing, and gathering user feedback within our collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage in R&D initiatives, playing a crucial role in the creation of cutting-edge medical solutions:
- Background Research: Conduct literature reviews and user interviews to gather insights.
- Design: Develop innovative technical solutions in the medical device sector, applying engineering principles and utilizing CAD software.
- Prototyping and 3D Printing: Fabricate prototypes using advanced 3D printing techniques.
- Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of prototypes to verify their functionality and reliability.
- Validation: Assess designs through user feedback sessions to ensure usability.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Engineering (preferably biomedical engineering).
- Background in ergonomics, human factors engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficient in CAD software (such as Inventor).
- Strong interest in the medical industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
