About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Account Manager for Animal Health. As a trusted partner of farmers and food professionals, Ecolab believes that hygiene is health and that health, in turn, is the key to more profitability and sustainability.

To come up with the right hygiene solutions, we build solid relationships with our customers, offering them continuous support. Not only do we offer a broad range of products for specific purposes, but we also give advice that's fully tailored to each situation and every step in the chain.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and technical sales of all customers and distributors in Spain. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Sales Budget of the Pigs and Poultry business, with drive and commitment to achieve ambitious growth
  • Improving skills of the sales teams from our local partners: through professional training and field visits at key accounts
  • Technical support: answering all types of technical questions related to our products and biosecurity, proposing solutions (with support of Global Animal Health Technical Support and Product Management)
  • Work with the different stakeholders in the farms and companies to ensure the biosecurity protocols are well-designed and executed
  • Create and execute the go-to-market/commercial strategy for the P&P business in Germany, together with Sales Manager
  • Create and execute value-creation projects within P&P customers
  • Commercial guidance such as follow-up on pricing, and orders, together with our Customer service, etc
  • Building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with your partners in your territory

You will report to Divisional Manager DACH & Nordics Animal Health, and together we will establish your action plan and sales targets, based on agreed strategies. You will introduce new products, prepare strategic discussions on how to grow the business, etc.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in animal production/farming, preferably with knowledge of either species-related mainly dairy farm, but also poultry or swine or in the health- or nutritional field. You should have:

  • Fluent in German and English written and oral
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, desired in Veterinary, or Agronomy
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in the Pigs and/or Poultry industry, desired biosecurity experience
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial
  • Willingness to travel 60% of your time in your territory
