Your RoleAs an IT Solution Engineer - Security Platforms, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions for our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing security solutions that align with our Zero Trust, Password Manager, Privileged Access Management, and Multifactor Authentication platforms
- Assessing and evaluating our existing security infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security solutions
- Collaborating with IT security teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for security solutions
- Working closely with network infrastructure teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into our existing network infrastructure
- Collaborating with application development teams to ensure secure coding practices and integrate security features into applications
- Performing risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats
- Conducting regular security audits to ensure the effectiveness of implemented security solutions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of security solutions and proposing innovative solutions to enhance our security posture
- Providing technical guidance and support to IT teams and end-users on security-related issues
- Documenting system configurations, security procedures, and troubleshooting guides for security solutions
- Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate, select, and implement security solutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards related to security
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A study background in business computer science or business engineering, or a comparable training as a business economist
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or IT project management
- Very good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in an international environment
- Excellent consensus-building and teamwork skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Additional foreign language skills are an advantage
