Your Role
As an IT Solution Engineer - Security Platforms (m/f/d), your role will be to provide technical support to our organization's IT security solutions. You will be responsible for the following:
Designing and implementing state of the art security solutions for the organization, with a focus on Zero Trust, Password Manager, Privileged Access Management, and Multifactor Authentication platforms Assessing and evaluating existing security infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate security solutions Collaborating with IT security teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for security solutions Working closely with network infrastructure teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into the existing network infrastructure Collaborating with application development teams to ensure secure coding practices and integrate security features into applications (Security by design) Performing risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats Conducting regular security audits to ensure the effectiveness of implemented security solutions Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of security solutions and propose innovative solutions to enhance the organization's security posture Providing technical guidance and support to IT teams and end-users on security-related issues Documenting system configurations, security procedures, and troubleshooting guides for security solutions Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate, select, and implement security solutions Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards related to security, such as GDPR
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A study background as a business computer scientist or business engineer, or a comparable training as a business economist. You should have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles At least 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or IT project management. You should have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining IT security solutions Very good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service. You should have experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in an international environment. You should be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent consensus-building and teamwork skills. You should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Fluency in spoken and written English. You should be able to communicate effectively in English Additional foreign language skills are an advantage. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, or Spanish is a plus
