About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Deutschland S41 Transport GmbH. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of our fleet in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the health and safety of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations.
  • Support product and program launches in Germany, leveraging your operational knowledge and understanding of local market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve operational needs, executing programs with ambiguous deliverables and aligning stakeholders to achieve daily business needs.
  • Manage the availability of vehicles in Germany, balancing tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong logistics or operations experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.
  • Ability to travel across Germany 20-30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • Fleet management experience.
  • Background in mobility services.
