About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Deutschland S41 Transport GmbH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, and availability of our fleet in their respective sub-region of Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the health and safety of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations.
  • Support product and program launches in their sub-region of Germany, leveraging strong operational knowledge and understanding of local market conditions.
  • Tactically collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to solve operational needs and execute programs with ambiguous deliverables.
  • Manage the availability of vehicles in their sub-region of Germany, balancing tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong logistics or operations experience.
  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • Fleet Management experience.
  • Background in mobility services, such as car leasing or automotive companies.
