About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Statista. As a key member of our corporate development and consulting team, you will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing business relationships with our media partners across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance partnerships and drive business growth
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media partners, ensuring strong, ongoing relationships
  • Lead negotiations for partnership agreements and contracts
  • Develop and present project proposals to new and existing partners
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stakeholders are aligned and projects are delivered and published successfully

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, management consulting, or media/publishing
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing business partnerships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and strategic thinking abilities
  • Native proficiency in English; proficiency in German is a significant plus
