About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of hydro turbines and mechanical balance of plant equipment worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of hydro turbines and auxiliaries and governing systems worldwide.
  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of mechanical balance of plant equipment such as cooling water systems, drainage and dewatering systems, oil supply systems, and hydraulic steel structures.
  • Fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of commissioning works and meet quality requirements.
  • Handover of equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed education in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning of hydro turbines and auxiliaries and governing systems is an advantage.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written. German and other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Ability to work on worldwide short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
