Senior Manager Contract Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage crucial projects and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure adherence to project plans and monitor progress.
* Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking, and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
* Drive operational site management and act as an integral interface to customers.
* Oversee all aspects of daily operations and projects to ensure financial, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
* Lead and motivate staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication in difficult circumstances.
* Evaluate current operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure strict adherence to budgeted revenue and operating income goals while establishing and maintaining day-to-day fiscal management practices.
* Analyze regular financial performance indicators and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, logistics, or business administration.
* Profound knowledge of economic, commercial, and political issues to build and grow the business and projects with impactful outcomes.
* 5+ years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company.
* Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance while collaborating across dynamic and multi-cultural teams.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Fluent English and German language skills, with additional languages a bonus.
* Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time across the region to operations and clients.
