Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Purchasing expert to join our team at Bruker. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business growth by ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a business partner to internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and negotiating agreements that meet sourcing objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse supplier base, evaluating performance and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, lead time, and cost targets, analyzing data to identify areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast supply demand and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Manage non-conformity and warranty processes, securing capacity and forecasting to meet business needs.
  • Support cost budgeting and follow-up activities, executing supplier selection and rationalization processes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as economics or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or a related area, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Sufficient English and German language proficiency to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
