About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing HSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in Safety or a related HSE field and at least 8 years of HSE experience, with a minimum of 2 years of HSE supervisory experience. A High School Diploma and at least 10 years of HSE experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE supervisory position may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a Health Safety and Environmental team.
- Develop goals and initiatives to achieve a Zero Harm culture and reduce incidents.
- Coordinate the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel, in support of business execution.
- Interface and negotiate with regulatory bodies, clients, customers, and subcontractors.
- Execute the processes that directly impact training, report writing, plan development and implementation.
- Incorporate health standards directed by regulatory agencies and clients to prevent hazards and diseases from work sites.
- Under the general direction of PMO Senior HSE Manager, you will be accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function.
- Supervise the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
- Participate in the development of functional strategies and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.
- Coordinate the return-to-work program with PMO Medical to ensure reduced worker compensation costs.
- Develop and tracks HSE KPIs.
- Be responsible for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within HSE.
- Be prepared to travel and work in austere environments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Benefits
