Job Overview: French Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing facility management and project management support to the US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA).
Responsibilities:
* Provide consultation and advice to Government personnel on USAMMA medical facilities life cycle management program
* Assist with multiple USAMMA medical APS warehouse projects
* Support USAMMA projects at multiple sites
* Provide expertise in US Army health facility planning, project management, construction management, space management, facility management, initial outfitting and transition (IO&T) management, total building commissioning (TBCx), operations and maintenance, safety data sheet development for USAMMA sites, construction meeting participation and the application of U.S. building codes and standards, DoD and Army Regulations, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), host nation environmental and occupational health standards, environment regulations, and other regulatory and medical standards
Qualifications:
* At least two years of construction project management experience
* At least three years of experience with medical logistic management
* Technical knowledge and applicability of laws, regulations, policies, methods, and procedures affecting Army health facility and medical warehouse construction
* Knowledge of general principles of architecture, engineering, design, construction, and project management; medical-functional and medical building system components and their interrelationships; applicable government industry, and accreditation standards and criteria (including space planning, life safety, antiterrorism, indoor air quality, patient privacy, sustainability, and others related to healthcare facilities); DoD and Army construction policies and procedures, including contracting functions, quality assurance, risk management; organizations relevant to health facility operations and construction; computer programs and tools that speed and improve project execution; data, documentation use, and management to include drawings, specifications, schedules, and estimates
