We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Senior Specialist to join our team at the Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our IT Service Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of audiovisual (AV) technology in our Munich office.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance work on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV technology.
- Provide technical support and assistance at events, conferences, and meetings.
- Create and maintain documentation for installing and configuring AV systems.
- Support employees at the Munich office on all questions relating to information and telecommunication technology in our Microsoft- and Mac OS-based company environment.
- Install, configure, and commission hard- and software components to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide user training and advice on AV systems.
- Document activities in our ticketing system and ensure prompt resolution of problems.
Requirements
- Strong affinity for technology in the field of IT and AV, with a service and customer-oriented approach.
- High-quality work style with personal initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility.
- Excellent coordination, organizational, and improvisation skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
- Precision and meeting deadlines are essential, with the ability to remain calm and tactful in stressful situations.
- Eagerness to learn continuously to expand IT knowledge and advance professional development.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training as an IT specialist, AV specialist, or similar.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of IT/AV support, ideally in a highly service-oriented and international corporate environment.
- Solid knowledge of hard- and software, mobile devices, networks, and the latest Microsoft and Apple products (Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Microsoft 365, and cloud services).
- Experience in meeting and event support, with deep familiarity with AV systems.
- Excellent German language skills, with very good written and spoken English language skills.
