About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our team at PAION Pharma GmbH. As a Medical Director for Infectious Diseases and Intensive Care, you will be responsible for advancing our knowledge about PAION's compounds within the medical and scientific community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with investigators, medical specialists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support meetings by collecting and interpreting insights, competitive intelligence, presentations, and results.
  • Provide medical support to clinical development studies, including feasibility and quality research site recommendations, TA/product training for site staff, and medical educational activities to support patient recruitment.
  • Administer medical support to the Brand team, including identification of HCPs and Advisory boards.
  • Act as a field-based reference point for non-promotional scientific and clinical expertise to the field force.
  • Identify and track potential research opportunities aligned with PAION's development objectives.
About You

We are looking for a Medical Director with a strong background in Infectious Diseases and Intensive Care. You should have a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs, and a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree, preferably with experience in Intensive Care and Infectious Diseases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to understand, process, and communicate scientific information to a high standard.
  • Precise expressiveness and excellent medical writing skills.
  • Demonstrative external customer focus with strong networking capabilities and integration with KOLs.
  • Excellent influencing, networking, presentation, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of cross-functional team working.
