About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at IFS Ultimo. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving outbound and prospecting efforts for our top-of-the-line SaaS solution for asset management in businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with prospects through various channels, including calling, email, and social media, to qualify them as valid sales opportunities.
  • Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through aggressive targeting and value-driven conversations.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to review assigned accounts and make necessary adjustments, while working alongside Account Executives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with assigned target accounts and develop value in working with IFS Ultimo.
  • Understand the functional competitive advantages of the IFS Ultimo solution set and customize messaging to gain traction in accounts.
  • Work through gatekeepers to gain access to decision-makers in prospective organizations, while understanding the organizational hierarchy.
  • Contribute to the development of the territory and identify high-quality opportunities, while assisting Marketing in implementing account-based marketing campaigns based on account plans built in conjunction with sales, pre-sales, and marketing.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of calls and contacts, updating prospect status within the contact management application.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, business development, inside sales, or software sales experience.
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover needs, learn more about the prospect, and better qualify.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly coachable, willing to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific emphasis on telephone skills.
  • Must be fluent in both German and English languages.
  • Experience with contact management applications, such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
