As a Quality Assurance Specialist at VSE Aviation, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our aviation logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and resolving customer and vendor issues
  • Maintaining and updating return to vendor logs and receiving issues
  • Addressing manufacturers missing or illegible certification documentation, shortages, or any other issues with parts and documentation
  • Transmitting technical information to internal and external customers for processing RTVs on nonconforming material and/or documentation
  • Communicating with vendors to obtain required information for RTVs (RMA, Certs, Shipping method)
  • Resolving customer requests by investigating on the topic, developing solutions, preparing reports, and proposing recommendations to management via the Return Material (RMA) process
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of on-the-job experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Knowledge of ISO/ASA audits
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Microsoft Power BI skills
