Job Summary: VSE Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Quality, and Purchasing, to resolve customer and vendor issues.
- Provide timely and accurate information to support customer expectations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints through the Return Material (RMA) process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in creating Root Cause Corrective Action reports.
- Keep management informed of RMA and RCCA activity.
- Develop relationships with manufacturing partners to coordinate Return to Vendor (RTV) activities.
- Communicate technical information to internal and external customers.
- Address certification documentation issues with vendors.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain required information for RTVs.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or 4+ years of on-the-job experience in lieu of education.
- Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or technical certification in quality methods and processes.
- Knowledge of Quantum Component Control or another aviation ERP system.
- QA methods knowledge.
- Knowledge of ISO/ASA audits/auditor training.
- Familiar with Microsoft Power BI.
