Key qualifications and skills
  • University degree in economics, finance, or banking
  • 4-5 years of experience in front or middle office of commercial banks
  • Expertise in credit review, rating, and risk analysis of corporate clients
  • Knowledge of finance, economics, and accounting standards
  • Understanding of banking supervisory requirements in Germany
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent language skills in German and English
Responsibilities

Credit Review

  • Conduct thorough analysis of creditworthiness using quantitative and qualitative factors
  • Perform rating reviews and updates on clients
  • Prepare credit review reports and present to the Credit Committee
  • Coordinate meetings for the Credit Committee and prepare meeting minutes

Credit Administration

  • Verify conditions precedent for loan payments
  • Monitor existing clients and exposures in compliance with internal and external rules
  • Report large exposures and loans above EUR 1 million to the German Bundesbank
  • Manage customer data and pledged loans for refinancing purposes
  • Provide risk reports to the local Management Board and Head Office
  • Establish and manage credit files
