International Collections Specialist EMEA

This is a high-impact position at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's cash flow by effectively managing delinquent receivables for accounts in the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conversing and communicating with franchisees and internal departments to ensure timely payment of financial obligations. This involves collection and missing withholding tax receipt calls, resolving past due accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, reviewing financial statements, and reconciling withholding tax receipts and VAT (where applicable).

Key responsibilities also include fielding incoming calls, recommending accounts for next collection steps, account reconciliations including submitting write-offs and payment processing details, and performing withholding and VAT adjustments and other miscellaneous write-offs.

In addition, this role requires daily identification and application of payments and special projects. You will need to understand the implications of withholding tax and identify and resolve financial issues promptly, communicating such issues to Senior Finance management in a timely manner.

Impact on Cash Flow

This position has a significant impact on EMEA cash flow, making timely processing of payments and write-offs crucial to maintain accurate accounts. Failure to accurately and efficiently perform job responsibilities can negatively affect cash collections, outstanding withholding tax & VAT, unapplied cash, and customer service levels.

As a result, it is essential to improve A/R aging, DSO, and obtain and process withholding tax receipts while maintaining overall A/R integrity. The individual overseeing the collection process must ensure accurate collection measures are being taken to reduce the company's liability and exposure.

Estimated Salary Range:

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between €55,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
