Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for SAP GUI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for SAP GUI workflows using Python and Pytest Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to discuss test results and plan remediation.
  • Manage code repositories using Azure DevOps and ensure seamless integration with web technologies and RESTful APIs.
  • Execute tests using the Pytest Framework and ensure comprehensive coverage and reporting via the Allure mechanism.
  • Review and update automated test scripts to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 5-6 years of Automation Testing with Selenium and Python.
  • Must have coding experience in Automation SAP GUI workflows using Python.
  • Must have min of 3-4 years experience automation on SAP ECC, EWM experience would be a plus.
  • Experienced with Pytest Framework using Page Object Model and Allure Reporting mechanism.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
  • Should be familiar with Azure DevOps tool as the Code Repository.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience (excellent English is a must).
  • Should be able to coordinate with global team and service SLA's as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
