Senior Test Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our interdisciplinary Testing Team at QualityMinds GmbH.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and development, with a focus on test automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated test cases to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Monitor test results, analyze issues, and provide actionable insights to the development team
  • Provide exceptional customer support, both on-site and remotely, to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Advise customers on suitable automation strategies and tools to optimize their testing processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing test automation frameworks to ensure they remain up-to-date and efficient
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to colleagues and customers on test automation best practices
Requirements:
  • Education in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven work experience in software testing or development, with a focus on test automation
  • Practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium
  • Strong programming skills, with a focus on languages such as Java or Python
  • Experience with test data handling and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in Performance Testing and Load Testing
  • Knowledge of Security Testing and penetration testing
