About the Role

Giesecke+Devrient is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test automation strategies using Azure DevOps and other suitable tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive concept for test automation, including the selection and implementation of suitable test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Integrate test automation into the development and deployment process, ensuring seamless collaboration with development and quality assurance teams.
  • Care and maintain test automation, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop a concept and implementation for test tracking in Azure DevOps, streamlining our testing process.
  • Review requirements and create test specifications, ensuring thorough testing of our products.
  • Prepare tests and manage test data, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct manual tests and create test protocols, providing detailed documentation of our testing process.
  • Perform targeted analysis and recording of errors throughout the product, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Automate functional tests, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT.
  • At least three years of professional experience in test automation, ideally in an agile software development or quality assurance environment.
  • Certification as ISTQB Certified Tester (minimum Foundation Level).
  • Solid knowledge of using Azure DevOps and test automation tools, such as Selenium, Tosca, or similar.
  • Good experience in creating automated test scripts and test frameworks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a high degree of initiative and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
