Purpose of the Position

The Inbound Logistics Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining harmonized logistics management standards across the organization. This includes developing and implementing policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with experience in managing purchase order fulfillment processes, warehousing, and transportation operations. They will also have knowledge of EU regulations and policies for the logistics sector, particularly in customs and international trade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance improvements, leading capability building, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain alignment and collaboration. They will also be responsible for maintaining process documentation, supporting on-going training, and troubleshooting and defect resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain harmonized logistics management standards across the organization.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
  • Manage purchase order fulfillment processes, warehousing, and transportation operations.
  • Drive business performance improvements and lead capability building.
  • Optimize end-to-end supply chain alignment and collaboration.
  • Maintain process documentation and support on-going training.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably in the FMCG sector in a multi-market European region environment.
  • Experience in managing purchase order fulfillment processes, warehousing, and transportation operations.
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and policies for the logistics sector, particularly in customs and international trade.
  • Knowledge of Lean Management concepts and techniques for waste elimination and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels of the organization.
