Logistics Expert for Supply Chain Optimization

Purpose of the Position

The role of Inbound Logistics Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from the source to the warehouse. As a key member of the Intersnack Group GmbH & Co. KG team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining harmonized logistics management standards across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes
  • Leading capability building initiatives for the logistics team
  • Driving business performance improvements through data analysis and process optimization
Responsibilities

As a Group Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of Inbound Logistics processes
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team to optimize warehouse and transportation operations
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and logistics providers
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to the logistics team on process improvements and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A 'think big' mentality with an initiative-taker, entrepreneurial attitude
