OHB Digital Connect GmbH is a leading provider of ground-based systems and services for the space and technology industry.

The Satellite Ground Systems department at OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Bremen is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to drive the integration of OHB tools into the EGS-CC infrastructure and contribute to the development of cutting-edge ground segment systems for satellite missions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a mission control system based on ESA's EGS-CC / EGOS-CC
  • Integrate OHB mission control and flight dynamics tools into the EGS-CC infrastructure
  • Participate in the development of ground segment systems for current and future satellite missions
  • Plan and coordinate MCS-related development activities
  • Support in defining the required tasks and technical objectives
  • Creation and maintenance of design/interface documentation
  • Enable transition from spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) to mission operations to maximize synergy across all mission phases
  • Act as an interface to customers and product owners

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
  • Experience in working with mission control systems in the context of satellite operations or AIT activities
  • Experience in the design, implementation, or integration of mission control systems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly
  • Flexibility, an independent and effective way of working, as well as a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team
  • Business fluent in German is a prerequisite
  • Very good knowledge of English
