Flow Control Systems Expert

Job Summary:

Flowserve SIHI Germany GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong business relationship with customers, working closely with sales engineers, external and intercompany suppliers, technical solutions, and commercial operations engineers to meet on-time delivery commitments for pump repairs, upgrades, and spare parts.

You will act as a technical inside salesperson, working independently and as part of a team, to receive and process customer quotes, orders, inquiries, and complaints in German and English. Your tasks will include preparing cost estimates and offers, determining customer requirements, and ordering parts from intercompany and external suppliers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer quotes, orders, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare cost estimates and offers for customers
  • Determine customer requirements and provide solutions
  • Order parts from intercompany and external suppliers
  • Organize the transportation of machines to the service center
  • Post-process and translate repair finding reports
  • Support project preparation and execution for pump repairs and upgrades
  • Find technical information and solutions to specific problems
  • Provide customer advice and support in German and English
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Your Profile:
  • Technical studies (Bachelor or Master) or mechanical engineering technician (Techniker Maschinenbau), Bachelor Professional of Technical Management (Technischer Fachwirt oder Betriebswirt)
  • Fluency in written and spoken German
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Good computer skills in common MS Office applications
  • Strong and friendly communication and team skills
  • Independent and reliable worker
  • Affinity for both technical and commercial areas
  • Willingness to perform and adapt to changing situations
