About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH - R28 team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale cloud database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud database systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of software solutions
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
