Software Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our cloud database development team at Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH - R28. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying large-scale database services optimized for efficient query processing and easy to use.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of talented software engineers in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of database services.
- Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements.
- Work with product and program management teams to define and develop multi-tier web services.
- Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features.
- Deep technical expertise in software development, including knowledge of engineering practices and patterns.
- Experience in engineering team management and leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Strong business acumen and judgment, with the ability to define visionary products and hire and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
