About the Role:

As a Sales Business Development Manager at Workday GmbH (Euro), you will play a key role in driving incremental add-on business into strategic named accounts. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals partners with customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise customers
  • Cross-functionally coordinate with Workday's internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical, and sales support)

About You:

We are looking for experienced professionals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, as well as strong negotiation skills for closing opportunities. Our ideal candidate has around 8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience negotiating deals with various C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
  • Experience building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business
  • Experience developing long-term account strategies with existing customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to stay up-to-date with trends and customer needs
  • Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
  • Experience with ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions
