- Drive Safety and Wellbeing: You will create and oversee a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: You will work closely with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and improve operational excellence.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring that it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards.
You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day will be varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks.
About the TeamOur Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) team is a dynamic and entrepreneurial group that breathes life into new ideas and incubates them until they grow into sophisticated businesses. We work behind the scenes to support new areas of the business, such as Amazon Fresh stores and our online grocery service.
There are lots of opportunities for every skill set, from operations to supply chain to data management. AGL's goal is to help develop new capabilities within Amazon on behalf of our customers.
Requirements- A degree
