About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Partner Manager to join our Amazon Logistics team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our partnerships with third-party delivery service providers, ensuring seamless and efficient last-mile delivery operations.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our delivery partners, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with our Regional Operations Managers, Partner Relations team, and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that meet our business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with delivery service providers to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
  • Guiding partners through the onboarding process and providing ongoing support to ensure successful business operations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, operations, or business administration
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in operations, last-mile delivery, or account management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig into data and find solutions to operational problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours during peak periods
  • Proficiency in English and German, with a C1+ level of language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
  • Experience project planning in ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Enjoys analytical work and using data to provide thought-provoking and workable solutions
