Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our Amazon Logistik AF München GmbH - D93 team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the smooth operation of our site, meeting customer demand, and driving productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Drive Operational Excellence: You will analyze and implement changes to improve quality and productivity, ensuring our site operates at the highest level.
- Oversee Projects: You will lead projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and improve the quality of service for our customers.
- Analyze Performance: You will analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: You will work closely with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and ensure consistency across the site.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring it operates at maximum productivity. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety, uphold quality and shift performance standards, and oversee process improvements within your area.
You will also be a role model and mentor to new managers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
About the TeamOur Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) team is a dynamic and entrepreneurial group that works behind the scenes to support new areas of the business. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of our Munich location.
