We are seeking a skilled Tariff and Tender Management Specialist to join our team at GLOVIS Europe GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Freight Forwarding Tariff and Tender related to the European Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and analyze information about new suppliers and forwarders to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement a supplier qualification and due diligence process to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
  • Manage tariff procurement, structuring, maintenance, and updates to optimize logistics operations.
  • Onboard and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market screening and regular reporting to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Communicate and align with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.
Tender Management
  • Develop and implement a tender process aligned with sales and product strategies to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute tenders that meet business objectives.
  • Manage tender process setup, execution, and moderation to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Review and analyze customer and supplier conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage agent networks and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and procurement processes to ensure effective management of tariffs and tenders.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role to ensure a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
